Q: Am I permitted to sublease my space?

Subleasing, also known as subletting, is when a tenant leases space from the landlord and then leases some or all of the space to a third-party tenant. This creates a once-removed tenancy that, in effect, has an occupant of the space who has no formal relationship or direct responsibility to us as the landlord.

As a matter of policy, subleasing or subletting is not permitted per our Lease Agreement. However, if you have what you believe to be a special circumstance that might make sense for us to consider, we are open to the conversation.
